Form Wash

As mentioned above, all SLA parts require isopropyl alcohol (IPA) rinsing for the best results and mechanical properties.  While this can be done manually, why net let the Formlabs Form Wash do it automatically for you?  Parts travel straight from the Form 3 to Form Wash. Opt to go glove-free and keep parts directly on the build platform.

Simply set the appropriate time and let Form Wash get to work.  While you’re away, parts are precisely agitated in IPA, getting every nook and cranny perfectly clean.

Once washing completes, Form Wash automatically lifts parts out of the IPA, avoiding over-soaked, warped prints. Parts air dry and are ready when you are.

Wash stats:

  • Approximate wash time when using fresh IPA - 15 minutes

  • IPA volume for removable wash bucket - 8.6 liters

  • Amount of prints per IPA refill in regular use - 70 prints

Included with the Form Wash:

  • Hydrometer - A custom hydrometer tool to check IPA saturation.

  • Storage - Behind the wash bucket to keep finishing tools tidy.
