ATMAE’s Certified Industrial Robotics Programmer (CIRP) certification is now within reach for students using Open Source Solutions (OSS) training kits.

The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) is a nationally recognized organization that accredits and certifies technologybased education programs and professionals. One of its latest credentials—the Certified Industrial Robotics Programmer (CIRP) certification—is quickly becoming a must-have for students entering the growing field of industrial automation. Designed by industry experts and educators, CIRP certifies a student's ability to program open-source industrial robotic systems using Blockly, a visual coding language developed by MIT and Google.

This is where Open Source Solutions (OSS) comes in. OSS provides robust, hands-on robotics training solutions—built around uFactory robotic arms—that are fully compatible with the CIRP certification pathway. With OSS, your program can:

  • Use OSS’s instructional curriculum to meet CIRP’s required contact hours

  • Offer Blockly-based visual programming directly aligned with the CIRP exam

  • Give students hands-on experience with industrial-grade, opensource robots

  • Support certification-readiness without needing proprietary or expensive equipment

By integrating OSS tools into your classroom, you’re not only delivering real-world robotics training—you’re actively helping your students qualify for a certification that will open doors in today’s tech-driven job market.
