Help Wanted – Traveling Technician

Learning Labs, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated technician who is willing to travel up to three days or so a week within the Southeast US, including nights out. This position requires you to work in both secondary and post-secondary educational institutions to unload, unbox, setup/install, and to a minor degree, train on a wide variety of career and technical training equipment including advanced manufacturing equipment, robotics, 3D printers, CNC machines, laser engravers, wide-format printers, etc.  If you enjoy getting the opportunity to work with cutting edge machines, this job might be for you!

This position requires some physical strength and a knack for troubleshooting as well as a great personality. Along with sales personnel, technicians are often the face of the company, so a winning attitude and a desire to be helpful are a must.  Technicians are often called in to diagnose a problem with a piece of equipment and fix it if necessary. Technicians are also required to have a working knowledge of computers and networks.

 

Benefits include a 401(k), health insurance allowance, company vehicle, and expenses. Salary range is $40k+ depending on experience.
