Tello EDUs and Mission Pads
Tello EDU

Tello EDU is an impressive and programmable drone perfect for education. You can easily learn programming languages such as Scratch, Python, and Swift. With an upgraded SDK 2.0, Tello EDU comes with more advanced commands and increased data interfaces. Complete with DJI’s flight control technology, Tello EDU also supports Electronic Image Stabilization. Write code to command multiple Tello EDUs to fly in a swarm, and develop amazing AI functions.   • Programming Simplified - Tello EDU supports block programming. Simply drag coding blocks on the screen to program Tello EDU and enable certain movements. Additionally, the Tello Space Travel tutorial teaches you how to use the Swift programming language to code on your iPad while following a fun storyline. The RoboMaster app is compatible with the RoboMaster EP and multiple operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac, making it the perfect tool for a wide range of teaching scenarios. The EP supports two programming languages, Scratch 3.0 and Python 3.6, delivering the fun of programming to beginners and experts alike.

Made of steel and finished with a sleek, futuristic design, the RoboMaster EP Core is fully equipped with cutting-edge technologies that provide consistent support for classroom learning.

Features of the RoboMaster EP Core include:

  • Robotic Arm - The EP Core’s Robotic Arm is incredibly durable, yet compact and flexible. It supports precise FPV control, allowing students to complete tasks even when the target objects are out of sight.

  • Gripper - The Gripper transforms the EP Core into a powerful robot with multiple functions. A convenient structural design and adjustable gripping force empower it to firmly and reliably grasp and move objects of various shapes, weights, and sizes.

  • Mecanum Wheels - The EP Core comes with four Mecanum wheels, each with 12 rollers that allow omnidirectional movement and precision control. Front axis suspension allows for added versatility during operation.

  • High-Performance Servo - As a propulsion driver for the EP Core, the servo supports customized control abilities through the EP Core’s main control board.   • Sensor Adaptor & Power Connector Module - Each sensor adaptor has two ports and provides power supply. A power connector module can connect and power third-party hardware, offering multiple ports to connect hardware and create custom programs and applications.

  • Intelligent Controller - Using a powerful CPU, the Intelligent Controller can simultaneously support functions such as low-latency high-definition image transmission, AI computing, and programming development. It also coordinates transmission seamlessly to execute command signals.

  • Infrared Distance Sensor - With a measurement range of 0.1-10 meters, the infrared distance sensor provides reliable distance measurement information. This enables the EP Core to sense its environment and avoid obstacles, deepening students’ understanding of advanced autonomous driving principles.

  • High-Performance Motor - The EP Core comes with a customized motor that features an integrated FOC ESC with an output torque of up to 250 mN•m. Linear Hall-effect sensors with advanced algorithms allow closed-loop control for added precision. Additional safety mechanisms deliver outstanding stability.

Other features include:

DJI Education Hub users can log in to their DJI account via the web portal or desktop platform and efficiently perform tasks such as adding new students and teachers, running learning activities, and managing teaching tasks. It is an excellent tool for empowering educators and their students to achieve their goals.

Features of the curriculum include:

  • Diverse Educational Resources for Teachers: Teachers will have easy access to
    course resources and question banks for all age groups to help them create
    exam forms, schedule exams, and complete learner evaluations efficiently.
    Teachers can create their own customized instruction format specific to their
    needs.

  • Fun and Simple Programming Education Tools for Students: DJI Education
    Hub comes with Rogram , a new programming interface for teaching learners to
    use Scratch and Python to create innovative robotics programs. Rogram is easy
    to use and the programs it makes are compatible with more than 130 different
    types of robots, including a full lineup of DJI robotics products.

  • New Interactive Simulator: DJI Education Hub also features the new DJI
    Robotics Simulator, which includes a 3D physics engine that adds realism to the
    simulation environment by mimicking the characteristics of an actual working
    machine, including its joint structure and reproducing the effects of collisions,
    friction, and resistance. Combined with a diverse range of application scenarios,
    this simulator delivers a more intuitive and practical experience to
    programming learners. Teachers and learners can also debug programs in the
    simulator and link them to an actual robot for concurrent testing, enabling the
    seamless integration of virtual and real-time processes.
